"I can't say enough about Pride South Equestrian! I started working with Lindsey when I found myself needing to move my retired 29 year old combined training horse, Monty. He's mostly blind and can be very anxious about trailering and new situations, but Lindsey was able to quickly put him at ease by working at his pace, while still meeting goals. Lindsey is so level headed, gentle, and intuitive and we're very thankful to have a trainer willing to meet the needs of older horses or those with unique needs!"

My horse Grace is 27 years old. About a year ago she started deteriorating.

I asked Lindsey from Pride South Equestrian to start working with her.

The transformation was amazing. Grace looks and feels great again.

Thank you, Lindsey, for loving what you do and doing amazing things with my girl.

Linda Maueder (Mother of Kate Maueder)

My daughter Kate started the PSE Horsemanship Program in late September at Silver Cloud Farms with Lindsey and I am sincerely amazed at the level of learning that takes place each time we enter the barn.

Lindsey was very forthcoming about the goals of the programs and stressed the importance of the children learning to understand and communicate with the horse. She has taught Kate to look for nonverbal cues from the horse and also how to communicate non-verbally with the horse.

Each lesson starts with grooming the horse, each step the students take is part of the learning process. They are learning to care for the horse, not just ride it. As a parent, I am extremely happy with this program. This program has given Kate so much happiness and confidence. It has forced her to come out of her shell and speak up for herself. She is taking the communication skills learned at the barn and applying them into the classroom.

My little girl, who at one time wouldn't stand up in front of her class, now looks for a reason to speak up.

Both Kate and myself have gained a new respect for horses.

Ms. Lindsay has the best Horsemanship lessons for young equestrians. As young equestrians, we do not know much but Lindsey tells us about horsemanship. Ms. Lindsey is the nicest instructor in the world. I really recommend that if you want to learn, go to Pride South Equestrian. She has taught me so many things. I have learned about all the grooming supplies, the pressure points, tack, lunging, and so many other things. There are also 3 lesson horses Apache, Archie, and Steppy. Steppy has taught me many things. She taught me to be assertive, sweet and she has taught me how to properly lunge a horse. Apache and Archie are sweet little love bugs and are so willing. Lindsay has really good methods. Lindsay has taught me how to walk a horse, turn them around safely and let them know I am the boss. She even lets me give the horse a treat after our lesson. One time I gave Steppy a treat and she bowed for me. She has also taught me about herd mentality. She has taught me a lot of things. I don't know what I would do without her.

Mike and Angel Wise (Mother/Father of Madison Wise)

We have been with Pride South Equestrian for a little over a year and in that time she has become more than just a trainer she has been a friend to my daughter and to our family. I have seen my daughter Madison grow so much not only with her knowledge of horses but also her confidence. Lindsey really takes the time to get to know each student so that she can teach them in a way that they respond to. The program is so great, not only do they learn groundwork as well as ride but they learn so much more about the horses and caring for them. We are so blessed to have found Lindsey and the PSE Horsemanship Program!

My experience with Mrs. Lindsay's horsemanship program was AMAZING! There are 3 lesson horses Archie, Apache, and Steppy. Mrs. Lindsay (my lesson instructor) is awesome. She is sooooooo understanding, loving and kind. During the horsemanship program you will learn so much about horses including how tack them up, how to take care of them, how to ride them and many other things. Horses are very fun creatures, they basically act like children. They are super fun to grow with and learn about. Archie, who is my personal favorite, is a puppy dog he will basically do anything you want, he just loves everyone. Steppy is a stubborn mare, but you learn to be assertive and to love her for it. Apache who is the biggest of the 3 is super sweet and fun to play with, but he has a super bouncy trot. I am so glad I decided to do the horsemanship program with Mrs. Lindsay I couldn't have asked for a better experience and instructor. I really recommend Pride South Equestrian for a horsemanship program.

Mary Compton (Mother of Sarah Bramlett)

The work that Lindsey with Pride South Equestrian has accomplished with our horses and my daughters riding ability have been unbelievable. The way she handles our horses with kindness and reassurance makes her top notch in my book. I feel comfortable with her teaching my daughter and our horses. She has brought out the best in both rider and horse with her encouragement and knowledge. She explains why she is teaching them to sit a certain way, use their legs a certain way giving the rider the ability to see and feel the difference.

Sarah Bramlett

My name is Sarah Bramlett and I have two horses named Sparrow and Bingo. Lindsay has been my trainer for a few months. In the short amount of time my family and I can tell a great difference in my growth of riding and horsemanship. About a year ago, Lindsay started to work with my horse Bingo. Before Lindsay started to work with Bingo, he was a very complicated horse. He was scared of everything and didn’t trust me or anyone who rode him. Now, Bingo’s attitude has improved greatly and his feet work have taken a major step forward. Bingo’s entire demeanor has changed enormously. I love the Pride South Equestrian Team’s methods and all the members! Can’t wait to continue working with them!

Wanda Noe, Owner, Silver Cloud Farm

Pride South Equestrian’s Horsemanship Program has yielded excellent results at Silver Cloud Farm. Lindsey has developed a comprehensive course in everything ‘horse’, adaptable for youth or adult, which creates an understanding of horses. Knowledge is power. Knowing why you are being asked to do something a certain way is always better than just being told to ‘do it this way’. Her students graduate into the riding program with the knowledge to safely manage the horses and their own fears. The course has been designed so well, and is presented so thoughtfully with Lindsey’s gentle approach, that her students naturally stand out. They are having fun safely and fostering their love of horses.
